Hey peeps,
My blog from now on will be more about my "Insanity Journey". I finally decided that i want to loose weight and be fit. So i searched for a program that can help me achieve my goals and that is when i came across the insanity program. I read a few reviews about it and it's said to be the hardest workout program ever put on dvd. I got it anyway and started on the 7th of September 2015. Today is the 12th day of the program and I'm still going.
The reason why i have decided to document all these is because from past experience, i rarely commit to anything in my life. I easily get bored and quit but this time, my mind is made up. i want to see this program through so i consider this accountability.
I should have started blogging from day one but day 12 is still okay. So today, I was up at 5:30 am to do Insanity before work. It was crazy. I felt like i was going to throw up at some point but i kept pushing to the best of my ability. Before i went to bed last night, I had sprained my leg and I thought I might not be able to work out today but I told myself no excuses or taking any sick days and as i woke up and kept pushing, My leg was fine.
-First thing i had in the morning was my cool detox drink made of A glass of water, 1 spoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 spoon of lemon juice and some stevia.
- My breakfast was a smoothie made of protein powder, papaya, bananas, Almond milk, Vanilla essence, and grapes. Its totally delicious.
- Lunch was a piece of boiled Chicken, Spinach, Butternut & sweet potatoes.
- Dinner was mainly fruits and some of of the smoothie I had for breakfast.
At 5:30pm, I did some Turbo jam. Its less intense than Insanity.
Off to bed quite early. I need to be well rested before my workout for tomorrow.
